Itinerary

1
Day 1 / Tashkent
Arrival in Tashkent.  At the airport you will be met by a guide holding a sign with your name.  Early check in and time for rest.

10:00 am meet tour guide and start sightseeing in the capital of Uzbekistan, the biggest city in Central Asia.  Visit the old part of Tashkent with Khast-Imam Complex and see the world famous Quran of Caliph Uthman.

• In Khast-Imam visit Madrasah of Barak-Khan, Tillya-Sheykh Mosque, Mausoleum of the Saint Abu

Bakr Kaffal Shashi and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari.

• Explore the vibrant Chorsu Bazaar.

Then take a ride on Tashkent Metro to the city center and take a walk through Amir Timur Square,

Independence Square and the Applied Arts Museum. Enjoy free time in the afternoon.

Transfer to the restaurant.   Dinner at the  “Tanderiy” restaurant.  (not include)

Transfer to the hotel.   Overnight  in Tashkent..

Day 2 / Tashkent-Kokand-Ok Yer-Fergana
Early breakfast at the hotel  or lunch box.  Transfer to the train station at 7:00 and catch the train to Kokand, departing at 8:05. *Alternatively go by car; the road takes about 6 hours and goes through the Kamchik Mountain Pass.

Arrive in Kokand at 12:16. Transfer to the hotel. Leave  your   baggage and time for refreshing. 

Sightseeing  start from: Khudoyar-Khan Palace, Jami Mosque and Norbut-biy Madrasah.

Drive to Ok Yer village and visit the house of craftsman Bakhrom-aka to visit a traditional Kyrgyz family

manufacturing wool carpets. Continue on to Fergana city (80 km) to visit Akhmad Al-Fergani Park.

Transfer to the hotel. Check in and time for rest.  

20:00  Dinner  at the  hotel restaurant.  (not include)

Overnight in  Fergana.

Day 3 / Fergana-Rishtan-Margilan -Tashkent
After breakfast, drive from Fergana to Rishtan to the house of a well-known ceramic master, Rustam

Usmanov. Here you can enjoy a pottery workshop and have a look at their ceramics collection in a small

museum.  Drive to Margilan and visit Said Akhmad-Khoja  Madrasah. Today, the madrasah is home to a number of

craftsmen producing handmade carpets and silk. Continue to Yodgorlik Silk factory to see the production process of silk with traditional Ikat patterns.  If it is Thursday or Sunday, visit Kumtepa Bazaar, the largest market in Fergana Valley.

At 15:20 transfer to Margilan railway station to take the  train to Tashkent, departing at 16:20. Arrive in Tashkent at 21:25. Dinner at the train restaurant. (not include)

The driver will be waiting for you at the exit.

Transfer to the   Hotel.  Overnight in Tashkent.

Day 4 / Tashkent-Samarkand
Early breakfast at the hotel. 07:30Transfer to the railway station.  08:00 Departure to Samarkand. 10:10 Arrive in Samarkand. Meet your driver and transfer  to the hotel. Leave baggage and time for refreshing.

Full day excursion program in Samarkand: Guri-Emir mausoleum, Registan Sqaure (Sherdor Madrassah, Tilla Kari Madrassah and Ulughbek Madrassah), Walking from Registan Square to Siyab Bazaar. The famous Tashkent Street is passing from Registan Square to Siyab Bazaar. Now it is renamed in honor of the first President of Uzbekistan Islom Karimov. On the street there are many shops of needlework made of silk, etc. Bibi-Khanum Mosque – the largest mosque in Central Asia, visiting the famous Samarkand market- Siab Bazar free time for shopping.

Day 5 / Samarkand
Breakfast at the hotel.

10:00 Meet your guide and continue sightseeing in Samarkand: Visiting Imam Al-Bukhariy ,  Al Matrudiy  and tomb of  HZ. Doniyor ,  Shohi Zinda  complex,    the Observatory of Ulugbek. Then drive to Konigil village to explore traditional way of making Samarkand paper from mulberry. Silk carpet factory "Khujum", where silk carpets are woven manually.

Transfer to the hotel.  Free time for leisure at  the hotel. 

Transfer to the national house. Dinner in the national house. Master class on cooking Samarkand Plov or  Manti under the supervision of a chef. (include)

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 / Samarkand - Bukhara
Breakfast at the hotel.  Transfer to railway station. Departure to Bukhara by Afrasiab train.

At 11:19 Arrive to Bukhara. Meet you driver. Transfer  to the old city.

Bukhara was one of the biggest trading centres and stops for caravans during the Great Silk Road and has a very rich history. Visit the favourite square of local citizens Lyabi-Khauz, which is the centre of the old town and surrounded by several architectural monuments. You will visit one of the city’s oldest mosques Magoki-Attori and stroll through the three trading domes before reaching the Poi- Kalon complex (Kalon Minaret, Miri-Arab Madrasah, Kalon Mosque), which is one of the most beautiful places in the city. The last spot for today is the citadel Ark - the residence of Bukhara’s emirs since the 1st century.

Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 7 / Bukhara
Breakfast at the hotel.  Continue to explore Bukhara by car today. Visit Madrasah Chor-Minor, which has an unusual architectural style with four minarets. Drive to the holy site of the famous Sufi Bakhouddin Naqshbandi, which is a popular pilgrimage place amongst the locals. Afterwards, visit the Summer Palace of Bukhara’s last emir Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa. In the afternoon your guide will show you the Ismail Samani Mausoleum, which is considered to be a masterpiece of the 10th century’s architecture, Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum and Bolo-Khauz Mosque. After the tour will be some free time to buy gifts and souvenirs or to enjoy the last walk through this fascinating city.

Transfer to the restaurant for dinner.  Dinner at the restaurant   “Zaytun”.   (not  include)

 Transfer to the hotel.

Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 8 / Bukhara-Khiva
Breakfast at the hotel. 

 Set off in the morning for Khiva along, through theKizilkum desert. (480 km, 7-8 hours).

Stop en-route to enjoy views of the Amudarya River and the desert.

Arrive in Khiva in the late afternoon and check in to the hotel.

Free time for the rest of the day.

Dinner  at the  “Terrace” restaurant.   From here you have an excellent view of Ichan Kala. You can also watch the setting sun behind the horizon of historical monuments. All this will create an unforgettable impression, as if you were in Scheherazade’s fairy tale. (not include)

Overnight   in Khiva.

*We advise preparing lunch-boxes for this trip as there aren’t many places to stop along the way.

*Some parts of the road are presently being renovated, so travel times may vary depending on exactly when you do this tour.

Day 9 / Khiva – Tashkent
Breakfast  at the hotel.   Meet your guide and start   a day at the UNESCO World Heritage site, Itchan-Kala Fortress, which is a living museum under the open sky. Take a walking sightseeing tour in Khiva with a guide: visit Kunya-Ark Citadel, Tash-Khovli Palace,  Mukhammad Aminkhan Madrasah, Mukhammad Rahimkhan Madrasah, Kalta-Minor, Juma Mosque,Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, and Minaret of Islam-Khoja. Free time in the afternoon.

Transfer to Urgench   Airport to catch your flight back to Tashkent. Meet your driver at the exit  of the airport and transfer to the restaurant.

Farewell dinner at the  “Khan Chapan”   restaurant. (not  include)

Day 10 / Tashkent – Chimgan –Tashkent
Breakfast at the hotel.  Meeting with driver  and depart to Chimgan Mountains (80 km,-2h). you will be being the road lying in picturesque surroundings full of local villages, gardens, and streams. If the cableway is functioning take 3 km long ride in Beldersay gorge to Kumbel peak (2400) where the longest  ski track has its start. Have a walk in mountain area. Continue to the shore of Charvak reservoir, surrounded by green mountain flanks. With numerous resorts, beaches, and children summer camps,Charvak Lake is favorite place of local and foreigners to enjoy summer days outside the city. Drive down serpentine road to Chinara’s restaurant to have lunch under the shade of four giant plane trees. On the territory, there are unique petroglyphs, rock carving made by prehistoric people, preserved for the future.  Return back to Tashkent.
