Overview
This 10 day tour gives a comprehensive view of Uzbekistan. Travel to Khiva, a beautiful museum city under the sky, straight from the Arabian Nights - admire Bukhara, a city that is over 2500 years old, once the center of the world and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And, of course, discover the mythical Samarkand.

Itinerary
04:50 Arrive in Tashkent. At the airport at the exit you will be met Italian speaking guide and driver with a sign of your name. Transfer to the hotel. Early check in. Time for rest
07:00-10:00 Breakfast at the hotel. Time for refreshing. Meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby.
Full day excursion program: visit the modern part of Tashkent – Independence Square, Amir Temur Square, Museum of Timurids’ history, Museum of Art Appliances, Navoi Opera and Ballet Theatre, Tashkent underground.
Lunch at the Plov Centre. (not include)
After lunch proceed of the excursion program: visit the old part of the city Architectural Complex of Hazrati Imam – including the tomb of Imam Abu Bakr Muhammad-El-Kaffal Shashi who was one of the first imams of Tashkent( IX c.), Mui Mubarak Seminary where the oldest Koran is being kept (XIX c.), visiting the famous Chorsu bazaar free time.
Dinner at the “Khan Chapan” restaurant. (not include)
After dinner transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Tashkent.
Duration of sightseeing tour: 5-6 hours
Early morning transfer to local airport for flight to Urgench (1093 km, 1 h 40 min). Arrival in Urgench, transfer to the hotel in Khiva (30 km, 35 min).
Visit to the oldest part of the city: Around architected Complex Ichan Kala (XII-XIX c.), Kunya-Ark fortress (including Castle Khana), inside Ichan Kala. (XVI-XVII cc.), Tower “Kalta Minor” which means “short tower” (XIX c.), Madrassah Muhammad Amin Khan (1845-1855 ), Juma Mosque with 212 trees and with Minaret which’s height is 32,5 meters (X c.), Tash Khauli which means “stone yard” (XIX c.).
Lunch and free time.
Continue the sightseeing in of Khiva: “The Mosque Ak” – small mosque located near the gates of Palvan-Darvaza (1838-1842), The Memorial of Pakhlavan Makhmud – the most cultural center of Ichan Kala (1810-1913 c), The Minaret of Islam Khodja (1910) – of “the main Vizir” which means “Prime Minister” during the last Khorezm Khan, Caravansaray of Allakhuli-Khan....

Overnight in Khiva.
Duration of sightseeing tour: 5 hours
In the morning depart Khiva and drive to Bukhara (480 km, 7-8 h*). Today we will have an overland transfer from Khiva to Bukhara through Kyzylkum desert**. Caravans on the Great Silk Road carrying porcelain and spices used the same route for hundreds of years. Arrive in Bukhara late in the afternoon, check in to the hotel. Time for rest and overnight at the hotel.
*As the cafés and restaurants on the way are basic and offer limited menus, you may wish to take a packed lunch on this trip (your hotel or guide can help you arrange this the day before).
**Some parts of the road are not in the best condition.
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide in the lobby of the hotel . Enjoy a walking sightseeing tour with a guide in Old City. Visit Lyabi-Khauz Complex, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasah, trade domes, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri-Arab Madrasah, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Ismail Samani and Chashma-Ayub mausoleums.

Duration of sightseeing tour: 6-7 hours
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Meet your guide and start the second day with a visit to Bakhouddin Naqshbandi and Chor-Bakr Necropolis. Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa – the summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir, unique site combining Oriental and Russian architecture. Transfer to Gijduvan (48km, 1hr*). Stop in Gijduvan to visit the Gijduvan Ceramics Center and Workshop. The owner of the center is Alisher Narzullaev, one of the most well-known and respected ceramics masters of modern Uzbekistan.
Activities at the center include:
Tour of the ceramic embroidery workshops, including displays of the accompanying technology;
Master Classes on ceramic embroidery;
Ceramics Museum, displaying works from five generations of potters;
Gallery of ceramics;
Master cooking class, where you’ll make a traditional Uzbek dish and bake Gijduvan bread.
Enjoy your cooking creation for lunch. In the afternoon, continue driving to Samarkand (233km,3.5 hrs*).
Arrive in Samarkand and check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
*If traveling by van or bus, the drive will be approximately one hour longer.
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide and driver at hotel lobby to start city tour. Full day excursion program in Samarkand: Guri-Emir mausoleum, Registan Sqaure (Sherdor Madrassah, Tilla Kari Madrassah and Ulughbek Madrassah), Walking from Registan Square to Siyab Bazaar. The famous Tashkent Street is passing from Registan Square to Siyab Bazaar. Now it is renamed in honor of the first President of Uzbekistan Islom Karimov. On the street there are many shops of needlework made of silk, etc. Bibi-Khanum Mosque – the largest mosque in Central Asia, visiting the famous Samarkand market- Siab Bazar free time for shopping.
Transfer to the national house. Dinner in the national house. Master class on cooking Samarkand Plov or Manti under the supervision of a chef. (include)

10:00 Meet your guide and continue sightseeing in Samarkand: Visiting complex of Al Matrudiy and tomb of HZ. Doniyor , Shohi Zinda complex, the Observatory of Ulugbek. Then drive to Konigil village to explore traditional way of making Samarkand paper from mulberry. Silk carpet factory "Khujum".
Transfer to the hotel. Free time for leisure at the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day in Samarkand without guide and driver until transfer to the train station.
16:00 Transfer to the train station.
16:53 Arrive in Tashkent. Meet your driver at the exit of the train station and transfer to the hotel. Time for the rest.
18:00-19:00 Transfer to the Tashkent city. Let's take a leisurely stroll to the singing fountains. Let's admire the bright colors and the beautiful symphony of the fountains.
Farewell dinner at the Sim-Sim restaurant (include)
03:00 am Transfer to Tashkent International Airport. 06:10 Departure. End of the tour.
